Last weekend, Ryan and I had a few days in Boston. The boys were loved on by grandparents, so we had a few days of 'parental off-duty' time.
We toured Fenway, went to the New England Aquarium, walked the Freedom Trail, climbed to the top of the Bunker Hill monument, shopped, enjoyed a great public transportation system, ate the most fabulous Italian dinner at Giacomo's Ristorante in the historic North End (just steps away from Paul Revere's home), went on a hilarious and informative Duck Tour in a WWII amphibious vehicle, attended a Holiday Pops concert put on by the Boston Symphony, and so much more.

| Enjoying this seal's antics at the New England Aquarium. Part of me still wants to be a marine biologist when I grow up. |

| Outside of Quincy Market - such a lovely display of Christmas lights! I loved all the old brick pavers on the ground. |
This is just a tiny sampling of photos that we took -- maybe one day I'll get back to posting more regularly. I still need to go back and recap the boys' baseball season! And Halloween! And Logan's 5th Birthday! There are several things happening in our little world and I hope to record them here soon.
For now, though, I hope everyone is preparing to enjoy a wonderful Christmas with friends and family.
God bless you all.
