tag me, so in honor of that, I'll answer these questions:
What were you doing 10 years ago?At this time 10 years ago, I was working at a pageant company here in Houston while home from college. (Crazy, I know. The pageant company part.) I was the office grunt worker, but at least I got to wear a tiara while I worked! Not everyone can claim that as a job perk. I did this job for two summers. It paid well (helped to pay some of my college tuition) and was fun...most days. Other than that, I was also taking a couple classes at Houston Community College to get them out of the way, as well as hanging out with my boyfriend at the time.
Things on my To-Do List today:Feed the kids
Do some laundry
Clean the floors
Exciting, huh? They're not getting accomplished while I'm here at the computer, though...
What are some snacks you enjoy?If you're a regular to this blog, you've noticed my love of M&M's.
Also - anything chocolate, cookies, cake, cheesecake, pretty much anything baked that isn't terribly good for you but oh-so-good to enjoy.
Cheese is also good.
I do enjoy fresh fruit such as apples, cantaloupe, and pineapple...unfortunately, they're my snack only if the other items listed above are unavailable!
What would you do if you were a millionaire?A big chunk would go straight to the church/Christ-centered organizations. Beyond that, paying off the house and car (and possibly getting a larger car) and socking a large portion into retirement and college savings would be priorities. I don't anticipate that sort of windfall happening to us, but that's what we would most likely do if it did ever come our way. To splurge, we might take the fam on a lifetime vacation, but I don't know where we would go (I have destinations in mind all over the world!).
Name some of the places you've called home:Ready for this? Fair warning: It's confusing.
Kansas (3 times - Atlanta/farm, Wichita, Atlanta again), Texas (total of 8 locations - 5 places in Katy, then there's also Nederland, Corpus Christi and College Station. I'm not going to list the different places I lived in College Station), Minnesota, Wisconsin (2 houses), New Mexico (twice - Farmington and Hobbs), Alaska, and St. Croix USVI. These are not in chronological order, and a majority of the moves happened before I was 10 years old.
However, "home" is in Katy.
What are some of your bad habits?I have wayyy too many to list. The short list would include procrastination, sleeping past my alarm, leaving the light in the pantry on...
